Is First Class Paving licensed and insured?

Yes, First Class Paving is licensed in the state of California under C12 - Earthwork & Paving, license #1061422. We also carry commercial general liability and workers’ compensation insurance.

When is it too cold for paving?

For high-quality results, we recommend paving with a minimum ambient air temperature of 50 degrees. To serve our customers well, First Class Paving does not pave when the weather is significantly colder than 50 degrees. On days with a wide temperature range, we may be able to prepare the site and then start paving once the air temperature is warm enough. Contact us if you have schedule concerns related to air temperatures.

How long do I need to wait before driving on new asphalt?

In our climate, most asphalt is ready to be driven on within 24 hours, although this depends on the weather. Asphalt will take longer to cure in shaded areas or in cooler weather. Talk to our team to get a recommendation specific to your job site.

How long does asphalt last?

With proper care, you can expect your asphalt to last between 15 to 20 years. Our team would be happy to educate you about how to maintain your pavement and extend its lifetime to get the most out of your investment.
